7 LNG TRNG POLICY LNG TRNG Policy / Requirements Military Service Law Article No.33 (after March 2013) (2) «Ranks of the Officers shall only be awarded to those soldiers who are fluent [latvian version – know] in at least one of the official languages of NATO. The knowledge of language shall be examined in accordance with the procedures specified by the Minister of Defence.»
