2 Background The purpose of these surveys is to understand awareness and perceptions about online gaming safety and privacy from parents of gamers and gamers themselves. 600 online interviews were conducted between Dec. 1 st and Dec. 10 th, 2010 300 parents of gamers aged four years or older 300 gamers aged 18-24 years. Parents reported behavior for themselves and the child who plays games most often in the household Conducted by Cross-Tab Marketing Services 2
