3 Measuring SuccessChildren are assessed in reading, writing, speaking and listening, mathematics and scienceThe emphasis is on teacher judgementThe children are assessed throughout the yearTasks & tests are used to inform final teacher judgements.
11 Children with Special Needs P levels are used for children with special educational needs who will not achieve a level 1.
12 How can you be sure we are levelling correctly? Teachers use level descriptors from the National CurriculumTeachers work together to level workJudgements are moderated by the Leadership Team and by the Local Authority.
13 ReportingThe school is required to report results for all children to the Local AuthorityResults will be shared in your child’s end of year report.
