2 Predicates The predicate tells what the subject of a sentence does or is. My family goes on hikes. Hiking is fun.

3 Let’s try a few together. Underline the predicate in each sentence.
We hiked up a mountain. The trail was hard. It climbed up and up. My dad helped me a little. The view of the top was great. I enjoyed that hike.
