8 Where did the Spanish settle?  The Spanish colonists settled in the southern and southwestern regions of North America and Modern Day Florida, as well as parts of the California coast.

15 Where did the French settle?  The French settled in Quebec (in Canada), Montreal (in Canada) and Louisiana.
