SIMPLY PUT, BI IS THE INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY MANAGEMENT THROUGH SOFTWARE APPLICATIONS, DATA COLLECTION, SYSTEM INTEGRATION, AND DATA ANALYSIS. BI HELPS IMPROVE BUSINESS DECISION MAKING PROCESS USING FACT-BASED SUPPORT SYSTEMS.

REDUNDANT DATA STORAGE LEADING TO SIGNIFICANT RESOURCE USE FOR MAINTENANCE, AND INEFFICIENT RESPONSE TO CHANGING BUSINESS NEEDS.

USERS MUST UPDATE THEIR PARADIGMS USERS MUST BE SKILLED TO KNOW HOW TO HANDLE THE COMPLEX FLOW OF INFORMATION AN ANALYTICAL BACKGROUND IN INTERDISCIPLINARY FIELD SUCH AS ECONOMICS, STATISTICS, MATHEMATICS, MARKETING AND OPERATIONS RESEARCH OR MAYBE AN MBA SHOULD BE REQUIRED.
