6. Getting an order An order is a legal document that outlines your responsibility to your child. We can get an order by using an Administrative Process or a Judicial Process (Court). An order may be for paternity and/ or support.

7. Some ways we enforce child support: Send past due letters Notify employers to deduct support from wages Intercept tax refunds and lottery winnings Suspend licenses such as driver license Notify the credit reporting agencies Take the case to court
