National Park Definition
National park is a natural area designed (by the government) to protect the ecological integrity of one or more ecosystems for present and future generations.

Yellowstone National Park is located in the western United States. It spans 3,472 square miles (8,987 square km). Ninety-six percent of the park is located in the state of Wyoming, another three percent is in Montana, and one percent is in Idaho.

lakes, waterfalls, petrified trees, Obsidian Cliff the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River.

Yellowstone Lake Obsidian Cliff is an exposed area where lava flow erupted 180 thousand years ago. Obsydian is a volcanic glass.
