2. Describing use adjectives To say something is “more ____ than” something else use: más + adjective + que For example: El béisbol es más divertido que el tenis. (Baseball is more fun than tennis.)

3. Vamos a practicar. Translate the following sentences into Spanish. 1.The students are more interesting than the teachers. 2.Basketball is more popular than swimming. 3.Surfing is more difficult than football. 4.? (You create a sentence.)

5. Less than To describe something saying it is less than something else use: menos + adjective + que For example: Mi hermano es menos cómico que mis amigos. (My brother is less funny than my friends.) Tú eres menos peligroso que yo. (You are less dangerous than me.)

6. What about numbers? Of course there is always a special trick. This one is easy! When you are talking about something being more or less than and you are using numbers you use the word de instead of que. –Example: Hay más de diez estudiantes en la clase. Abran los libros a la página 203 y hagan actividad 15.
