2 en- some/any rules: en goes before the verb in a normal sentence after the verb in affirmative commands with a hyphen can replace: du/de la/de l’/de/d’ + noun en can also be used with a noun and a number en also replaces de + noun with quantity expression

3 Exemples I would like some lemonade. Je voudrais de la limonade. I would like some also! J’en voudrais aussi. We have three sisters. Nous avons trois soeurs. I have two of them! J’en ai deux. Paul has a lot of friends. Paul a beaucoup d’amis. We do not have a lot of them. Nous n’en avons pas beaucoup.
