5 4321 Standard 1.1 (Speaking)  Student is able to provide precise information about his or her family and includes information not shown in visual aid.  Pronunciation is accurate and grammar is correct.  Student is able to provide information about his or her family.  Few errors in pronunciation and grammar.  Student attempts to provide information about his or her family but is unclear or vague.  Errors in pronunciation and grammar make statements confusing.  Student is unable to provide information about his or her family.  Errors in pronunciation and grammar prevent student from being understood. Standard 1.1 (Writing)  Student describes each family member in detail and includes vocabulary not learned in class.  Fewer than 2 errors in spelling and grammar.  Student describes his or her family using vocabulary and descriptions learned in class.  Makes 5 or fewer errors in spelling or grammar.  Student attempts to describe family members but details are limited or descriptions and verb are repeated.  More than 5 errors in spelling or grammar.  Student does not describe family members or does not include at least two of the required components.  Several major errors make descriptions confusing.

During the quiz, you must stay in your seat. 4. When you finish please turn in your quiz. 5. Once you’ve turned in your quiz, you can work on homework, read or relax, but please remain quiet. Your family tree is due tomorrow—you must have it with you! You will use it for your verbal and written assessment.

8 Hoy es miércoles, el 17 de diciembre. No esponja today! Today we will begin your verbal and written assessments. 1. For the verbal portion, you will be assessed individually by Srta. T. 2. If you have notes or a visual guide, be sure to bring that with you. 3. Please remember to be quiet and respectful while others are being assessed. 4. While the verbal assessments are going on, please take out your family tree. 5. You will use this to write at least 6 sentences about your family. 6. Use your assessment guide to help you! Don’t forget about your retakes tomorrow!
