4. Hardware  Back up your hard drive  Copy important files to your M: drive  Back up hard drive to a CD  Completely shutdown your computer  Protects the computer from power surges  Saves electricity  Turn off your monitor and speakers  Prolongs their life  Saves electricity

Voicemail  Set your extended absence greeting  Include date you are returning  Indicate whether or not you will be checking voicemail periodically  Specify a contact person for immediate assistance  Turn on Send Calls  Prevents the phone from ringing several times before voicemail picks up
