5 1.6 million ballots were printed –600 to every MYP/DMYP –4000 to each LA (apart from IoS) –NI 40,000 –Scotland 1,000 to each LA –Wales 20,000 2015 - printing 2 million. Working out now until summer- when based on the number of schools signed up and the potential of each LA 2014

9 1.Sign up more schools/colleges by 17 th July - we’ll send ballot papers directly to them in Sept 2.Sign up Make Your Mark Champions- your youth council To break the Million mark

10 Now – write to Director of Children’s Services. Asking for support to get school/colleges to register 8 th May- write to your newly elected MP. Well done + Can you help sign the remaining schools? Youth Council- MYM as a Standing Agenda Item at every meeting. As them to: -go into their school/college and ask – how can I help with MYM here? -Register as a MYM Champion online MYM Mission 1

11 Recruit and support Make Your Mark Champions by: Youth Councillors- this now, and as a Standing Agenda Item until October School Councillors- Youth Council to go to their school council D/MYPs= Local MYM Coordinators

13 Timescales By 18 th Aug Ballots delivered to LAs and D/MYPsBYC 12 th Aug -2 rd Oct Local MYM delivery plan implemented  14 th Sept LA to submit progress report  By 14th Sept: Lead teacher in each school receives ballot papers (ideally through School Courier) / voting link  7 th Sept-2 rd Oct: Voting to take place in assemblies and/or classes Youth Reps and Workers 2 nd - 9 th Oct Mini Counts- collect and collate of results in LAs - encourage schools to hold mini counts run by School Council Teachers, youth reps, workers 9 th Oct - Online voting closes - Complete Count and Verification Sheet BYC 10 th Oct Big Count at Convention 2 - Bring your Count and Verification Sheets - Collate and compile results from across the country All
