3 Satan Accuses Us “But stretch out your hand and touch all that he (Job) has, and he will curse you to your face." - Job 1:11 “Then he showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, and Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him.” - Zechariah 3:1

4 Three Questions 1.Is Satan real? 2.What does the Bible teach about Satan? 3.Does Satan have a case against us?

5 The Bible Says… Satan is real, and he’s against God and people Satan’s power is constrained Through Christ, he can be overcome His doom is sure

6 Humanity’s Defense “In spite of everything, I still believe that people are really good at heart”

7 Does Satan Have a Case? All have sinned Hearts are evil No one seeks God “Good Works” like filthy rags

9 For the Defense… Jesus the Righteous our advocate Jesus in Heaven for us Jesus always lives to intercede for us OT Saints know this too Who will bring any charge? – No one!

10 An OT Example Zechariah 3 The “Angel of the Lord” cleanses and restores the High Priest (1-7) – The sinner does not defend himself – The restored one is given a job in the Kingdom Messiah’s Work is Foretold – Forgiveness of sin brings peace – Are you ready
