Used same videos and power-points Observed each other teaching Video – recorded our lessons and observed together with the school principal Watched the same recordings with the students forcing them to self – evaluate the questions they made during the lesson, their attitude, their prior- knowledge and whether they made connections with the previous lesson Asked them what connections they make now and at what level they are familiar with the lesson taught.

3. 3Successes Name two or three 'successes' you experienced with this pilot. What changes did you notice? By peer observation we were exposed to different ways of teaching the same lesson School principal gave us direct and clear instructions on what he wants us to do during the lesson and what not to. Students were more active and participating during the lesson and really enjoyed the video-recording process.

4. 4Challenges Name two or three challenges you experienced with the pilot. What got in the way of your success? Other teachers weren’t really willing to let us observe each other’s lesson. Most of them were “afraid” of the principal watching their lesson The presence of the principal in the classroom abstracted the student’s attention but only in the first five – ten minutes There were disagreements concerning the common lesson plan we were supposed to follow since the two classes had different level of students

Ask for permission to observe all school teachers teaching at least for an hour till the end of the year Will try to present new knowledge using power-points and videos at each lesson Organize a vocabulary team in my classroom giving students assignment to create a class dictionary with all new – interesting vocabulary learnt during the school year
