Approach: We will use the engineering method to obtain a conceptual design based upon the wants and constraints of the customers. From this we will construct and test a prototype in order to obtain our final product.

Background The FRC-DE is focused on manufacturing companies of metal products and provides technology development and deployment of near-net-shape manufacturing technologies, rapid prototyping, process simulation, and lightweight construction as well as polymer process and bonding technologies. 3. Problem Fraunhofer utilizes three different machines: a hot press, injection molding machine, and a vacuum oven. The molds and materials used in these machines are of significant weight and thus are difficult to maneuver without mechanical assistance. An effective solution will provide a faster, safer, more versatile, and simpler approach to loading and unloading of the machines.
