10 Statement of Work Water Quality (Non-stormwater) Contract: Waste Discharges to Land Requirements (WDRs) – Industrial and sanitary Potable water study – Documentation and quality control Onsite wastewater treatment systems for sanitary and washrack discharges Waste discharges generated by the Department (e.g. Aerial Deposited Lead (ADL), pavement grindings, drilling muds and slurries, concrete washout, vactor waste, etc. Characterization, tracking, and reporting of waste discharge Other water quality concerns/ studies as directed by the Department

11 Statement of Work Stormwater District Assistance Contract: Formulate solutions regarding the consideration and implementation of best management practices (BMPs) within the Department’s right-of-way and at Department- owned or Department-operated sites to achieve NPDES permit compliance, Develop or review draft compliance plans or technical reports (e.g., Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans and Facility Pollution Prevention Plans) related to water quality, and Assist staff in the Department’s districts in achieving compliance with the Department’s National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit obligations.

12 Summary of Personnel Requirements Consultant Contract and Task Order Managers: The Consultant’s Contract Manager and Task Order Manager(s) shall be licensed professionals in a discipline, such as but not limited to, a Civil Engineer, Landscape Architect or Engineering Geologist, registered to practice in the State of California with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in their respective fields. The Consultant’s staff, while in the field, shall be under the direction of the Task Order Manager or a Civil Engineer who is licensed in the State of California.
