18 Today, you will be reading a graphic novel chosen from our selection in the classroom. Open up your notebooks to a blank page or a sheet of loose-leaf and title the page “Graphic Novel Text Features” If you liked the book you were reading yesterday, raise your hand. What you are doing today

19 On this blank sheet titled “Graphic Novel Text Features,” you will be writing down examples of text/words that stand out to you from your graphic novel. Point out examples of unique dialogue, thought bubbles, narration, onomatopoeia, and punctuation. If there is any text that confuses you, mark that down on the sheet too. What you are doing today
