2 Hello Everyone –this hedgerow is full of wild flowers! It’s Spring and everything is growing… Look for the pink flowers in the hedgerow? when you find them…… click ©Geographical Association 2014

3 Well done! This flower is called a pink campion. They grow by the side of roads and hedges. See if you can spot them in the next picture …. Click! ©Geographical Association 2014

5 You might know this one it’s called a buttercup. It’s colour is just like butter! Click! ©Geographical Association 2014

7 Cow parsley flowers look like little white umbrellas. You can see who likes these flowers! Well done! This white plant is called cow parsley. Click and take a closer look…. Click! ©Geographical Association 2014

9 It’s hidden in the undergrowth but if it finds you it will stick to your clothing! Click on it to see it close up….. This plant is called Goosegrass. Why do you think it sticks to your clothes? Click to find out….. ©Geographical Association 2014

10 Why do you think Goosegrass sticks to your clothing? 1. To stop animals eating it. 2. To stop you picking it. 3. To get you to take it’s seeds to another place. Which one do you think is the right answer? Click when you have decided.  Goosegrass has little sticky seeds that stick to animal fur or your clothing….. This is so the seeds will drop off and grow in another place…. Very clever!! ©Geographical Association 2014
