4 Read through the timeline of events and annotate your poem with parts of the context that are relevant

5 In pairs answer the questions – pick the questions to get the most points you can 1.Identify the lines that are repeated. Why do you think these have been repeated? What does it show? (2 points) 2.Who is the speaker of the poem? What type of person are they? What problems are they facing? (3 points) 3.What do the following lines show about the relationship in the poem ‘I'd climb a mountain if I had to, Risk my life so I could have you’. (4 points) 4.In the fourth stanza, what is the speaker describing? How does it make the reader feel? (3 points) 5.Does the speakers attitude towards her relationship change throughout the poem? Is it different at the beginning than it is at the start? And how? (5 points) 6.Analyse the way in which language is used to show the context of the poem. (6 points) Feedback
