20 20 Webelos & Arrow of Light Requirements LDS Webelos should be actively participating in Webelos den for at least 9 months –3 months apply to Webelos rank –6 months apply to Arrow of Light rank Consider the circumstances of each individual boy 20

21 21 Items to consider: LDS Webelos enter a den program throughout the year. –Webelos den leaders need to know when their Webelos are joining and leaving! –Webelos entering a den may complete Arrow of Light adventures before Webelos rank adventures! –The Webelos rank is no longer required to earn the Arrow of Light rank –Unit leader planning and communication is a key element in successful advancement –If the program remains constant each year, the boys will be able to complete both ranks 2121

22 22 Items to consider: Communicate expectations to parents/guardians at the beginning of the Webelos year –Family responsibility for completing faith-based adventures –Elective adventures (if any) that need to be completed outside of the den meeting –Webelos should be encouraged to work with parents/guardians through elective adventures that capture their interest 2222
