4 Indiana 2010-2012, Prenatal Smoking Percentages In 2012, 16.5 % of women in Indiana reported smoking during their pregnancy. 7 BABY & ME – Tobacco Free Program  Evidenced-Based Prenatal/Postpartum Program  Researched from 2006 – 2009 NY State Dept. of Health  2011 Results, 70% + quit rate, at 6 months postpartum  Core Program Components:  Provides 4 prenatal sessions  12 Monthly postpartum visits  Provides FREE Diapers,  12 months Postpartum  Tested at every visit

8 Indiana’s Program Oct 2013 – Sept 2014: Enroll 300 Women Enrollment goal met: April 2014 Quit rate of 70% (as of June 2014) Oct 2014 – Expansion to include partners 8

12 Partnership In Surrounding Counties Subcontracting with agencies in: Parke/Vermillion Counties – Vermillion – Parke Community Health Center Chances and Services for Youth (Also able to reach Montgomery County) Owen County - New Beginnings Pregnancy Resource Center

13 First Year Success! 78 Women Enrolled 56% Quit 11% Reduced 64 Vouchers given to 22 women
