2 Who are our students? There were more than 57,000 enrolments in This is almost twice as many students as in 1990. RMIT received the most first preference applications in Victoria in Source Statistics and Reporting Pocket Stats 2003 In 2002 there were there were 9045 postgraduate and 25,680 UG students. A large proportion of RMIT study part time - in HE 31.38% in VET 47.18% More growth in HE % change from 1990 HE is 150% % change from 1990 VET is 37%

RMIT leads the HE in the proportion of international enrolments; 31% of total HE enrolments. In VET international enrolments are approx 15% of total VET enrolments.

RMIT leads the HE in the proportion of international enrolments; 31% of total HE enrolments. In VET international enrolments are approx 15% of total VET enrolments.

There are a large proportion of young people (15-19) enrolled in VET (19.2% in 2002), and over 46% of HE students are mature aged (25+).
