2. THE WEAPONS OF OUR WARFARE:
(2 Cor 10:3,4 NIV) For though we live in the world, we do not wage war as the world does. The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.

3. 1) PRAYER:
(Eph 6:18 NIV) And pray in the Spirit on all
occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.
(Jude20 NIV) But you, dear friends, build
yourselves up in your most holy faith and pray in the Holy Spirit.
PRAYER IS A WEAPON OF WARFARE BUT ALSO THE MEDIUM THROUGH WHICH ALL THE OTHER WEAPONS FUNCTION.

4. 'If prayer is the central activity for spiritual
warfare, the central attitude for those of us in the battle is faith and obedience.'

(Mat 21:21 NIV) Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, if you have faith and do not doubt, not only can you do what was done to the fig tree, but also you can say to this mountain, 'Go, throw yourself into the sea,' and it will be done.
We need to come to the prayer meeting believing that we can change things in the spiritual realm and defeat the work of the enemy!

2) THE NAME OF JESUS:
(Mark 16:17 NIV) And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues;
(John 14:14 NIV) You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

THE NAME OF JESUS CARRIES ALL HIS AUTHORITY, BUT ONLY IF WE KNOW HIM AND FOLLOW HIM IN FAITH AND OBEDIENCE

6. DANGER:
Acts 19:13-16 (NIV) 13 Some Jews who went around driving out evil spirits tried to invoke the name of the Lord Jesus over those who were demon–possessed. They would say, “In the name of Jesus, whom Paul preaches, I command you to come out.” 14 Seven sons of Sceva, a Jewish chief priest, were doing this. 15 One day the evil spirit answered them, “Jesus I know, and I know about Paul, but who are you?” 16 Then the man who had the evil spirit jumped on them and overpowered them all. He gave them such a beating that they ran out of the house naked and bleeding.
INVOKING THE NAME OF JESUS MEANS NOTHING UNLESS WE HAVE A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH HIM, AND ARE FILLED WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT!

7. 3) THE BLOOD OF JESUS:
(Rev 12:11 NIV) They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony; they did not love their lives so much as to shrink from death.
(Col 2:15 NIV) And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross.
JESUS DISARMED SATAN BY HIS SHED BLOOD AT THE CROSS. SATAN CANNOT STAND HIS GROUND AGAINST THE BLOOD OF CHRIST.

8. JESUS WORKS IN AGREEMENT WITH HIS FATHER
(John 5:19 NIV) Jesus gave them this answer: "I tell you the truth, the Son can do nothing by himself; he can do only what he sees his Father doing, because whatever the Father does the Son also does.
JESUS WORKS IN AGREEMENT WITH HIS FATHER
(Mat 18:19,20 NIV) "Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven. For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them."

9. THERE IS POWER WHEN BELIEVERS COME
TOGETHER IN AGREEMENT!
This is one reason why corporate prayer is so important in spiritual warfare. When numbers of believers in one local church or from many churches in the same area get together to agree in prayer, power against the enemy increases.
