See How Faculty/Staff Rate the UWP Follow-up University Writing Project Satisfaction Survey Results 2009-2011

Do you plan to use these results in the future to alter your assignment, teaching method, and/or class?

How would you alter them? “I will provide more opportunities for my students to work on their mechanics, grammar, and syntax.” “I will try to modify the assignment. A well crafted assignment creates a well crafted product.” “I will continue to refer students to the writing center.”

Do you plan to use these results in the future for program improvement?

How would you improve your program? “I will share the feedback with all the faculty members in my department.” “I would like to develop a screening instrument to alert the program as to the student’s mastery of writing during admission.” “I want to create some online materials that my students can use to help them improve their writing.”

Please rate your experience with the University writing project

Would you participate in the University Writing Project again?

Why would you participate again? “It is effortless on my part.” “I think it gives me a basis on what skills the students have or do not have in terms of writing.” “Its always good to see how my students performed from an assessment point of view, not just the subject content point of view.”
