Meeting Objectives: Inform, Discuss, Decide  By the end of today, we will have accomplished the following – both “firsts” in the CSU  Comprehensively shared information concerning faculty expertise, facilities, and equipment that support coastal and marine research  Discussed and planned for formation of a CSU-wide entity – COAST – that can: –Help support CSU research and education programs through sharing of resources and expertise –Inform state policy and increase CSU visibility –Provide research and education services to the State of California
