2 Mission Statement The Office of the Registrar establishes and maintains the academic records of the university and provides students with the enrollment services necessary to attain their educational goals. We support the mission of the University by providing accurate, responsive, respectful service through the continual development of our staff, policies, procedures, and technology. We promote an atmosphere of open communication and mutual support where effort, creativity, and growth are encouraged and acknowledged.

6 Credit Memos New Credit Memo Process in Admissions Starting Oct. 3, working on current backlog (approx. 1000) using new features Will add notes Will mail printed Credit Memo to students (rather than hand-written) Will not send copies to Colleges, Departments and Registrar They can look in AAA for a Credit Memo at advising time Admissions will then work on large backlog of Credit Memo work for students here since F’02 (put paper credit memos into DARS)

7 Credit Memos-AAA New Credit Memo view in AAA for Staff Credit Memo viewable as soon as Admissions processes it Notes feature Review of Other AAA features Summary view – all Institutions and exams History view – all courses and exams, including UCSB work Column sorts, multiple sorts and filters Training Workshops
