2 Job Description (Fort Apache):  Develop, plan coordinate, and evaluate community environmental education  Goal – protect public health and the environment  Develop action-oriented activities and programs  School programs (outreach and site-based) Pre-K to 12 –Indoor Air Quality, –Wetlands, –Geology and –Environmental monitoring

3 Location (Fort Apache):  Fort Apache Indian Reservation  About 1.6 million acres

4 Community Profile(Fort Apache):  Population is about 14,000+  Land is beautiful with many lakes and streams

5 Economy (Fort Apache):  Many recreational activities to offer  There is fishing and boating  Offer rafting repelling and swimming  During the winter, can ice fish, ski, snow board, cross country ski and snow mobile  Many more activities that the mountain has to offer

10 Community Profile (Santa Clara Pueblo):  Reservation Size / Geography: 56,640 acres  Flood plans of the Rio Grand, as well as the foothills and wilderness  Reservation starts at approximately 4,500 ft to 10,000 ft above sea level

16 Job Description (Yerington,NV):  Working in Air Quality for six months  Work for the Yerington Paiute Tribe in Yerington, Nevada  Required in our 103 air grant to do community outreach and education  Monitoring for particulate matter (PM10 & 2.5) and air toxics since January 2002 using MiniVols

18 Location (Yerington,NV):  West about 60 miles Carson City, Nevada  85 miles southwest of Reno,Nevada is Yerington Paiute Reservation and trust land comprise of approximately 1,680 acres of land
