2 In a population of dandelions is there genetic variation? 1.Which person do you agree with the most? 2.Why did you choose the one you picked? 3.Why did you not choose one of the others?

3 They all look alike to me. They must be identical. There is no genetic variation. Each dandelion had different parents. The offspring inherit specific traits from their “father” and other specific traits from their “mother”. Each dandelion is a blend of their parents. They are a 50/50 mixture of their mother/father. There is diversity, it is just hard to see. This diversity comes from the fact that some genes come from one parent and some genes come from the other parent. They are all genetically identical because these dandelions are growing in the same environmental conditions. Elvis Charlie Rita Grace Karl
