2 Creating a sensor for a specific cellular device We will detect the presence of a specific working cell phone in the class room (cellcom), by using an Energy Detector.

6 Antenna We use multi-beam antennas, with 3 beams, so we will be able to get a direction from each antenna. The desired opening angle for the antennas is 122.57 degrees. -9db line Relevant area

8 Pre-Conditions The cellular device works at a frequency – 1.7 – 1.9 Ghz  Bw = 200Mhz We require a 10db for SNR After an experiment we concluded that the device is emitting a: Pin = -30dbm R=30cm  R=5.7m  Pin =~ -56dbm For the detector we demand Pin(min)=12dbm Gain needed = 12+56 = 68db (At least)
