We have a similar joint program with a German university (Master level)

Globalization of education: Student study abroad program (mostly undergraduate)
One of our PhD students has been visiting and working in China every summer in the Supercomputer Center of CAS (partially supported by US NSF)

7. Job Market Most go to IT industry (Google, Intel, IBM, MS, etc)
A small number of graduates go to universities
Chinese students: some try to look for jobs in China, but most (probably all) stay in US
