3 When it applies All travel beyond “Embarkation Points” – Anchorage for travel to, from and within Alaska – Inuvik for travel to, from and within NWT Canada All persons traveling on behalf of the Alaska Venture – For any travel: Type: Individual, Group & Work Crew Modes: Commercial air, Charter air, and road travel by motor vehicle Reason: Temporary visit and/or work assignment

4 Why it’s done Your Safety! – Enables Shell to track and manage the risk and exposure for each individual working within the AK Venture. Managing “Personnel on Board” – Tracks individual location, flight, or marine vessel for accurate accountability. Emergency Management: – Logs your individual location and emergency contact details. Billing – Ensures project cost’s are billed appropriately.

5 How to Prepare Traveler must have: – Supervisor or Company Scheduler approval to travel – Met the training requirements for your destination – Proper PPE and know how to use it Groups must designate a single point of contact (Trip Coordinator)

6 How it works E-mails Alaska or Canada travel request (10 days before travel) to the AK Journey Management Group (GXEPWAKTravelNotification@Shell.com)GXEPWAKTravelNotification@Shell.com Traveler, Trip Coordinator or Company Scheduler Assesses travel and requests information needed to arrange travel AK Journey Management Group Provides the necessary information Books travel (& hotel) to Anchorage, AK or Inuvik, CA Logs personal information into the Journey Management Software Checks training status Books Alaska and Canadian travel Sends travel confirmation and resulting itinerary Traveler, Trip Coordinator or Company Scheduler AK Journey Management Group Traveler Checks in and reviews orientation upon arrival at destination Traveler, Trip Coordinator or Company Scheduler

7 Necessary Information For All Travel Full Name (First/Middle/Last) Best Contact # Emergency Contact # Citizenship Passport Number (Driver’s License) Passport (DL) Expiration Date Company For International Travel Above plus: Gender Date of Birth Position Title Passport becomes mandatory

8 Intervention: Everyone is authorized to intervene when their or other’s safety is in jeopardy. – You don’t have to be right and you don’t have to ask your supervisor. – Be respectful and professional: when intervening and for other’s interventions. Incident Reporting: Report all Incidents and Near misses to your supervisor – Failing to report incidents deprives everyone the opportunity to learn from them. Journey Safety

9 Searches: All baggage is subject to search and prohibited items are subject to seizure. – X-ray and physical searches may be performed at Shell’s discretion. Prohibited items on Shell Locations, Vessels, Charter Flights – Contraband - illegal drugs, drug paraphernalia, alcoholic beverages – Weapons - firearms, ammunition, tear gas, pepper spray, knives – Cigarette lighters – Pornography, sexually offensive material – Wet cell batteries – Cultural artifacts (excludes crafts) and unlawful animal remains – Other items deemed inappropriate by Shell security Journey Security If you are traveling internationally, you must not have any felonies on your criminal record … they check so let us know ahead of time!

10 Journey Security, cont. Offsite conversation: – Refrain from discussing operations with personnel not related to the project. 3RD Party Interaction: – Maintain a low profile; Do not engage and remove yourself from the area. – Report all events to your supervisor Personal or company equipment: – You are responsible for your own equipment; Shell is not responsible for lost / stolen articles. Cameras: – Use of cameras (incl. cell phone cameras) is not permitted on location without prior approval of an onsite Shell Representative. Unauthorized individuals: – No unauthorized individuals are allowed on the vessel or location. Substance abuse: – No one may work while impaired by alcohol, illegal substances or prescription drugs. – Drug / alcohol testing allowable with ‘just cause’.

Minimum required training: – All Alaska Venture Destinations Cultural Awareness, Alaska Environmental Awareness, Alaska Journey Management – All Alaska North slope Destinations NSTC w/ Shell Yellowbook Supplement – All Alaska Venture Canada Destinations NSTC w/ Shell Yellowbook Supplement OR Shell Yellow Book – Any offshore Facility/Location MMS Marine Trash and Debris, Cold water survival – If traveling by helicopter over water HUET w/ cold water survival – Other training for specialized roles: HLO, Defensive driving, crane ops, haz waste handling/shipment, etc. Pre Travel HSSE Training
