Preparing to read: The man in the picture is Keith Haring. He was a famous American artist. He started his art by drawing in the New York subway. He wanted everyone to share his art. He opened the Pop Shop in New York City in 1986. He opened another Pop Shop in Tokyo, Japan in 1998. Today only the Pop Shop in New York is still open. It sells pins, pens, watches, pictures, books, T- shirts, ties, toys and more! Everything has Keith Haring’s art on it. The man in the picture is Keith Haring. He was a famous American artist.
