12 MSU HealthTeam Michigan State University Care Alerts on the Desktop A Care Alert can be prioritized as normal, important, or urgent

13 MSU HealthTeam Michigan State University Care Alerts on the Desktop A Care Alert can also be assigned a Start Date and/or an Expiration Date

14 MSU HealthTeam Michigan State University Care Alerts on the Desktop You can Hide a Care Alert, which removes it from your Desktop, but keeps it visible in the patient’s chart

15 MSU HealthTeam Michigan State University Care Alerts: Hide vs. Remove Hide a Care Alert to remove it from your Desktop, but preserve it in the patient’s chart Remove a Care Alert to actually delete it from your Desktop and the patient’s chart

16 MSU HealthTeam Michigan State University Restoring Hidden Care Alerts To restore hidden Care Alerts, go to the Alerts/Flags tab of your Desktop, then click the Organize button Check  View removed alerts/flags, then click OK

34 MSU HealthTeam Michigan State University A Care Alert Caution Popup Care Alerts can be useful, but they should not be over-used, or users may become desensitized to all Popups and miss something critical about a patient’s medical care.
