Early Christians did believe Jesus was Son of God – Matthew 16:16; Galatians 6:4! 3. Council of Nicea (A.D. 325) met to clarify Jesus’ divinity, not create it! 4. Jesus was Mary Magdalene’s Saviour, not her spouse! The canonical Gospels pre- clude any option of a “married Jesus”!
