October 2005 installation includes pipes through walls and stopper. Required for installation in vault during Linac run. Balance of installation August 2006. Completed device designs: quadrupole, stopper, wire scanner, OTR actuator and component supports.

Installation – August 2006 Compressor articulation, mangets and chambers on order Compressor diagnostics incomplete Downstream emittance section design incomplete. Uses existing wire scanner, quadrupole, stopper and BPM designs. Collaboration with UCLA on single shot bunch length monitor in place. However, mechanical design for BC1 instance not started.

22 Eric Bong LCLS FAC Injector-Linac DesignBONG@slac.stanford.edu October 27, 2005 RF Design LLRF preliminary design review held Waveguide coupler design and fabrication complete Construction of the PEPII phase shifter RF chassis is complete, calibration next month. Phase shifter control board fabrication next month. 476MHz master amplifier chassis in process of being tested in the Lab. A 1:1 model of the S-band (2856 MHz) Phase Detector Cavity is being manufactured to start testing in October. The main RF parameters of the phase detector cavity calculated with Superfish program were presented during the "LCLS LLRF Preliminary Design Review"
