WebOS turns your desktop into a service that runs on the Internet rather than on your local computer.

5. What is eyeOS
eyeOS is a Customize desktop entirely usable from a web browser.
It includes an office suite and some other standard applications that you would see on your PC e.g. notepad, Calculator etc.
It also supports a full framework to develop new web apps as if they were desktop apps.
Its Open Source so you can host your own system, keeping all your data under your control.

6. History of eyeOS
It was created by these group of programmers in Barcelona Spain on 1st August 2005
They develop it as a concept of Web Operating Systems
The worldwide community of developers took part in the project and helped improve it by translating, testing and developing it
It was so successful 2 years later on June 4th 2007 they release a official eyeos called eyeOS 1.0
