9 The SMILE Program We are in need of over 100 volunteers to serve as mentors and role models to pre-college SMILE students by leading teams in middle and high school challenge events and Elementary Outdoor Science Adventure Camp You also have the opportunity to become involved in the programming of our events. We are always looking for representation from student organizations to show future college students everything that a university can offer. If you have an academic area of focus, or an interest in diversity outreach, we invite you to take part in our events!!!!! How can you get involved? College students are an essential link of the mission of SMILE because of their direct effect on the educational success of pre-college SMILE students.
