3 Institute Objectives The Institute is intended for serious and energetic students who are willing to be challenged by stimulating ideas and cultural exchange. AIPE brings together over 60 students from a wide range of nationalities to interact, learn and share their experiences. 4 Academics Political Economy Component the examines structure and functions of a market economy. Students will use the Harvard Business School case study approach to examine how several countries have fared using respective models of market governance. The American Studies Component allows students to explore historical and cultural aspects of American society. The course examines Theories, structures and principles of of the American system of constitutional government Academic credit is available through Georgetown University for either graduate or undergraduate level studies.
