9 9 Stage 6, Tilley’s TURTLE beam Had no time to work on that yet.

10 10 Bug 107 Bug still present, still think is is compiler specific, but difficult to change compiler. No problem with an older computer -> processing files on old PC. –Tedious and time consuming but works.

15 15 Comments, stage 6, 140 MeV/c Requirements: –Signal efficiency = 99.90% –Purity = 99.80% At 140 MeV/c, the purity of the beam (before PID) is 99.84%. –Already meeting the requirements... –All events not making sense already tagged as bad events (see my presentation at RAL Oct -05). –The intrinsic purity can get worse at higher momentum, so then PID is necessary At 99.90% signal efficiency, for SW detector background efficiency is 96.96%. That means at 99.90% signal efficiency, purity is 99.995%!.

16 16 Summary In all cases I studied so far, Sandwich detector outshines KLOE Light. Purity is very good even before PID, partly due to that bad events are cut out of analysis.
