1. Activity One Use the Windows Explorer program to create a new folder. Name the folder by your first name. Click on the windows explorer icon then highlight the drive letter you want your folder to fall under then select File New Folder and enter the name of your new folder.

3. Activity Two Create a total of: 1. Create a folder named after your first name. 2. Create another folder called Internet Technology. 3. Create another folder called Internet Images. 4. Create another folder called Internet Web Sites.

4. Activity Three Create a document in MS Word using the topic Biography. Write a brief description of your biography then use the save as option to save your file.

5. Activity Four Create a directory using MS DOS. To open MS-DOS go to Start, Programs then click on MS-DOS. DOS uses the term directory instead of the term folder. To Create a directory using MSDOS you first need to know what path you want your new directory to be in. Then you need to know the command to type in at the DOS prompt to create the new directory. At the DOS prompt type md dir sample.

6. Activity Five In the any windows program use the file save as feature to get to the file name: and Save as type: box in the save as type: box click the arrow down to get to the different file type extensions. From here you select your file types. Save a Power Point file as a jpeg file.
