4. Motion-Based Video Technology
DYNAPEL’S TECHNOLOGY IS DIFFERENT
Developed from computer vision research, it exploits the increasing processor power available in chips and on desktops
This makes things possible that were previously unknown in Digital video, and substantially improves the quality that can be achieved in real-time applications
MOTION ANALYSIS ENABLES UNIQUE FUNCTIONS
Using motion information is key to powering digital video. DynaPels “PelKinetics” engine extracts motion information, then “ISO-cam” separates object and camera motion, Tracker follows the object.
These functions are utilized in DynaPel’s in video editing, and security products.
Dyanpel different from generic motion (is motion, yes/no). 3 different engine work together. 1 – pelkinetics checks for motion. If yes goes to ISO-cam (user rules) to determine if object is worth tracking. Tracker anticipates objects path and sends/recieves control commands to ptz.

5. Company History
Two Norwegian research scientists, Dr. Gudesen and Dr. Martens, began an R&D initiative that led to at least three successful technology companies, one of which is DynaPel.
In 1992, the company was incorporated in the US operating as "International Digital Technologies (IDT), Inc."
The company moved to a new lab in Ismaning (Munich), Germany in It developed a strong technical capability and perfected the algorithms underlying the Company's core technology. IDT's first product: MotionPerfect
Started late 1980s by scientists w/ research grant for video analytics – first product package – video image stabilization

IDT evolves into "DynaPel Systems, Inc." with continued success and development of commercial products, licensing OEM software products, and video editing to the consumer electronics sector.

NightView makes night videos useable Correcting for over- or underexposure, dimming bright lights and simultaneously lighting up shaded areas proves more than just creating a nicer video:
A NightView video shows cleaner details. Sharp details are a requirement for good and high quality security video.
NightView video is less fatiguing to watch and makes it for an operator much easier to recognize critical situation, suspicious behavior or people. Keeping the operator alert is a major challenge in real-life security CCTV.

11. Code Converter
DynaPels Code Converter is a solution to the “assorted” domes and protocols found on some older installations.
With the Code Converter, control of PTZ cameras from a different manufactures joystick or DVR are possible.
Using the Code Converter, a user can connect one controller, to up to 4 different PTZ domes.
Not only does the Code Converter “translate” the protocol but it will translate the baud rate, and address.
User programmable like all DynaPel products, via On Screen Display
Great for retrofitted installations. Allows to integrate new equipment w/ old equipment. Allows end user to control all w/o pulling out entire system. Not expected to sale a lot of, but to know its out there. Can be used between joystick and domes, joystick and matrix, matrix and domes

CloseView allows unattended operations to capture those close-ups of the action in the scene.
It watches the wide-angle video and automatically directs a PTZ camera to zoom in and look at potential intruders.
Express is in demo kit – 1 ref, 1 ptz. Elite has more than 1.

Dramatically reduces the probability of missing the recording of activity.
Alerts a video guard of any activity and automatically directs a PTZ onto that scene for more detail.
Acts as an intelligent video filter that lets a video guard observe many more cameras simultaneously without permanently watching the screens of all the monitors.
A large installation therefore benefits from using CloseView by having less video guards on duty.
