9 The responsibility of an Interior Designer is to promote the health, safety and welfare of the public in the built environment. Ultimately, your client will make the final decision, however it is the designer’s responsibility to create an awareness and offer choices as to how the design of the interior can be energy efficient and environmentally friendly.
