3 Look at Strategic Context Consider Technology in the context of – Strategy – Goals/Objectives/Outcomes – Architecture (how we want technology to fit together) – What Initiatives do we need to move in our desired direction – Finally, what projects fall out from those initiatives? – And who then makes the technology decisions?

4 Considerations Should we implement new technology? – How does it fit in with Strategy? – How does it fit into the Framework? – Does it align with Goals? – Are there standards in place? Who is accountable for the delivery? What groups are (directly) impacted by the technology—how collaborative should we be:
