American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Passed by Congress in early 2009 to stimulate the economy Main objectives of act Job preservation and creation Infrastructure investment (modernizing) Develop clean efficient energy systems State and local fiscal stabilization Sponsored activities under the act have new, complex reporting requirements related to the objectives of the act

3. ARRA (cont.) October 5 th, January 5 th, April 5 th, July 5 th GCA may request PI assistance to obtain reports from subrecipients if necessary

7. Data Elements from PIs Project information (PeopleSoft number, Sponsor number, etc.) Project description Jobs created and retained Description of the jobs created and retained completed by P.I. Description of titles generally sufficient Infrastructure investments Contact name and information Description of investment and necessity

8.
