3 Step 1: Put the gel into the chamber Cover with buffer Load 5-10 μL of each DNA sample into separate wells. LAB SIX Molecular Biology

4 Step 2: Connect to power supply Adjust to 90 volts Run until tracking dye reaches the end of the gel Disconnect from power supply. LAB SIX Molecular Biology

5 Step 3: Transfer gel to staining tray Cover with stain for 30 minutes Examine on light box or overhead projector Wrap in plastic, mark wells and bands, measure from plastic.. LAB SIX Molecular Biology
