Pressing right button in cell-phone, user enters Extra- menu, which is wml-like service micro-browser with different services, including content selling  Advertisement  Banners-ads. Placing banners-ads in wml-like services based on built-in micro-browser  Advertisement tags. Mobile advertisement appears on screen when user writes predefined tag e.g. notebook. After pressing fire it is possible to show wml-like page through the built-in micro-browser  Sending advertisement notice to external network users. With every message sent by a user to networks outside of GoChat Network, there is a possibility to add an advertisement notice. E.g. if a GoChat MIM User sends message from to an ICQ user, an advertising text is sent together with the message or it is otherwise clear to an ICQ user that a message from a GoChat subscriber was sent to him

Instant Translation. This unique technology removes human communication barriers. GoChat IM provides a real-time two-way language translation in 13 different languages.  External network migration to the local “GoChat network”. Two users who want to use instant messaging, have to have only their own phone numbers or external IDs, i.e. from ICQ. When servers realize that they are looking for each other than gives them missing GoChat numbers which are assigned to those searched phone numbers.  NEW! Chat history archived by sending e-mail.

This version uses SWT library to work and looks graphically native on multiply platform (as does Azureus or Eclipse IDE). GoChat PC works on:  Window 95/98/200/XP/Vista  MacOS X  Linux It’s also possible to run it from web page via Java Web Start technology.

25 a vision of human communication GoChat Unified Messaging solution Technical Aspects Outline of the system architecture  GoChat Communication System will consists of:  Mobile Messenger – Java Midlet (full porting, including MIDP/1.0 devices)  PC / Web based Messenger (installable PC client + Web 2.0 client ran from website)  The System supports following communication methods:  Presence & Instant Messaging  Cell-phone standard functions: Voice-Call, SMS  E-mail & SMS two-way gateways  Sharing multimedia content  The System supports communications channels:  broadband/narrow-brand Internet (PC client)  GPRS, EDGE, UMTS, CDMA  WiFi, WiMAX  The System will create a local network with access to external well known IM networks

26 a vision of human communication GoChat Unified Messaging solution Technical Aspects Interoperability with external networks  Interoperability with external IM networks is based on server-side gateways  GoChat Messenger supports only the GoChat lightweight transport protocol  Adding other IM network requires only the server-side plug-in hot deployment. It is not necessary to upgrade mobile application or even restart server  Buddy list is based on Meta-contacts which are pairs of the internal GoChat ID and external IM network ID  Information about external networks availability is obtained from server during connection

Even „native” for MIDP 2.0 functions like micro-browser has been included in MIDP 1.0 version.  Due to MIDP 1.0 limitations it is not possible to make a voice call or send a SMS from the application by calling the native platform.  Below are selected screens for MIDP/1.0 Messenger version: (pictures are presented for English version Messenger)
