3. What is a Cardiod Sub?
It is a “gradient” array that arranges the elements on a front to back axis. The element(s) closest to the audience work as a typical source, the element(s) at the rear are spaced and use signal processing to shape the overall radiated sound.

4. What is a XCS 312?
The XCS 312 has 2 x 12” radiators and 1 x 12” shaping element. It requires 2 channels of signal processing and amplification to provide 180° coverage with >15 dB attenuation off axis.
