4 Vision: NJ will educate all students to prepare them to lead productive, fulfilling lives. Through a public education system that is seamlessly aligned from pre-school through college. 5 Technology in the 21 st Century Technology enables students to solve real world problems, enhance life, and extend human capability as they meet the challenges of a dynamic global society. NJCCCS 8.1, 8.2, 9.1-9.4

6 Vision The systematic integration of technology across the curriculum and in the teaching and learning process fosters a population that leverages 21 st century resources to:

7 Apply information-literacy skills to access, manage, and communicate information using a range of emerging technological tools. Think critically and creatively to solve problems, synthesize and create new knowledge, and make informed decisions that affect individuals, the world community and the environment.

8 Gain enhanced understanding of global interdependencies as well as multiple cultural perspectives, differing points of view, and diverse values. Employ a systemic approach to understand the design process, the designed world, and the interrelationship and impact of technologies.

9 Standard 9.1 describes skills that prepare students to fully engage in civic and work life. 12 Web 2.0 The term "Web 2.0" (2004–present) is commonly associated with web applications that facilitate interactive information sharing, interoperability, user-centered design and collaboration on the World Wide Web. Examples of Web 2.0 include web-based communities, hosted services, web applications, social-networking sites, video-sharing sites, wikis, blogs, etc
