International Geological Fair GEOLOGY 2004 The International Geological Fair GEOLOGY is aimed at promoting geology as a discipline of science and applicable knowledge as well as at promoting companies involved in geological surveys. Supporting institutions are also present at the fair (the Ministry of the Environment, National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management). –The fair is an opportunity to present the offer: –of Polish and foreign companies manufacturing research equipment (for laboratories and field work) as well as drilling equipment, –companies offering geological modelling, designing and document drafting services - including geological, hydrological and geological- engineering documentations, –resource development designs and other, –consulting companies. The fair is also to provide Polish companies with access to the latest state-of- the-art technologies offered by foreign companies. The fair is also to become a forum for exchanging experience and trade contacts at the international level, particularly with the neighbouring countries (Belarus, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Russia, Slovakia, Ukraine) and other European countries (Denmark, United Kingdom), interested in presenting their offer on the Polish market or selling or purchasing research technologies and equipment used in geology.
